Jones Netshipise leaves Phalaphala, what’s next?

After 22 years at Phalaphala FM, veteran presenter Jones Netshipise has left the station. While speculation suggests he may join Limpopo’s only commercial Radio, Capricorn FM, no official confirmation has been made.

Netshipise is currently the host of the ‘Ri a Dzedza’ show from 22:00 to 24:00 on Mondays to Thursdays at PhalaPhala FM.  He is also the host of ‘Vhugalatenga’ show on Sundays from 10h00 to 14h00.

Netshipise joined Phalaphala FM as their Afternoon Safe Drive show presenter in 2003. In 2006, he was voted Best Programme Presenter while working for the SABC Radio Station. He has also presented shows such as Breakfast, National Top 20, Sports and Party Time.

Before his Radio journey, Netshipise studied Public Relations at the Vaal University of Technology [Then Vaal Triangle Technikon].

There has been speculation that joins has been poached by Capricorn FM to host one of their Drive Time shows. Capricorn are also set to unveil their new line-up for the new radio season which starts on Monday, 3 March 2025.
