Premier Ramathuba welcomes holidaymakers to Limpopo
Limpopo Premier, Dr Phophi Ramathuba, has extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to all holidaymakers, pilgrims and visitors travelling to the province for the Easter period, commencing on 03 April 2026.
The Easter season brings together families, friends and faith-based communities in celebration, prayer and renewal.

Limpopo remains a destination of cultural richness, spiritual significance and natural beauty. The province proudly hosts two of the largest Christian congregations in the country, the Zion Christian Church [ZCC] and the St Engenas Zion Christian Church [St Engenas ZCC], which annually attract millions of worshippers to Moria, outside Polokwane.
**PUBLIC NOTICE**

With the anticipated increase in traffic volumes on major routes and within pilgrimage areas, Premier Ramathuba has called on all road users to exercise heightened caution and responsibility.
“Fatigue remains one of the leading causes of road accidents. We encourage motorists to rest every two hours or after travelling 200 kilometres,” said Premier Ramathuba.

“Road safety is a shared responsibility that requires vigilance, discipline and mutual respect.”
The Premier has also encouraged visitors to explore Limpopo’s diverse tourism offerings, support local businesses and experience the province’s warm hospitality while observing safety precautions.
“The Limpopo Provincial Government wishes all residents and visitors a peaceful, safe and spiritually enriching Easter.”
