Rodney Ramagalela joins SABC Sport

Former Mamelodi Sundowns, Polokwane City and Black Leopards striker Rodney Ramagalela has officially joined SABC Radio Station Phalaphala FM as part of its new line-up for the 2026-27 radio season.

Ramagalela was officially unveiled to the stations listeners on Thursday afternoon.

The 37-year-old recently retired from playing football after suffering serious injuries while at Chippa united. He was appointed as a football analyst at Makhado FM Sports show, which airs from Monday to Friday at 18:00-19:00.

Ramagalela also held an ambassadorship role at MTN8 during the current season. He has now joined the station, via SABC Sport, as a football analyst and will officially start his new journey on 1 April 2026.
