EFF Youth Command secures victory at UL SRC elections
The Economic Freedom Fighters Youth Command [EFFYC] emerged victorious for the fourth consecutive term in the SRC elections at the University of Limpopo.
The EFF Youth command won with 8 299 votes [7 seats] against the SASCO, which got 4 544 votes [4 seats].

The Student Christian Organisation [SCO] received 2533 votes [2 seats] while the Umkhonto We Sizwe Student Movement [MKMS] received 433 [0 seats]. Action SA received 200 votes [0 seats].
Chairperson of the School of Social Sciences and SRC elections candidate Comfort Komane told Capricorn FM that they had won the elections even before going to the polls, because of the relationship they built with students.

Komane said their track record in putting the interests of students first speaks for itself, and a fourth term was inevitable because, for the past three years in office, they managed to change the lives of many students.
He added that they will continue with their plans to deal with issues of safety for students, work on resolving maintenance issues on campus, and address issues of funding for students who have challenges with the National Student Financial Aid Scheme.
