Baroka FC announces free entry for all home matches
Limpopo club Baroka FC have announced free entry to all their home matches for the upcoming 2025/26 Motsepe Foundation Championship season.
The announcement was made by the chairlady, Selogadi Mphahlele, during the unveiling of the new players in Lebowakgomo on Saturday. The club also announced the renaming of the stadium from Global Village to Mafori Stadium.

“It’s free entrance for the whole year,” revealed Mrs Mphahlele, much to the jubilation of the fans at the event.
“So go and tell them, the league is starting in August. Tell them to come in numbers to support this team,” she said.

Meanwhile, the club has also announced the signing of nine players while they released 12. The new signings include Siyabonga Villane, Gift Muvhali, Thapelo Makuwa, Morris Buthane, Reshoketswi Mantjane, Tetelo Lekwatsipa, Harris Seoka and Moseki Shongoane
Dan Malesela is the head coach of the club after both parties agreed to continue from last season.
Meanwhile, they parted ways with the likes of Thuso Mogale, Sydney Malivha, Dan Ndlovu, Olaleng Shaku, Connor Zade Jales and Siyabonga Mthombeni.
Assistant coach Amukelani ‘Jay Jay’ Hlungwani has also left the club after three years in his role.
