ANC validates Vhembe and Norman Mashabane conferences
The African National Congress [ANC] in Limpopo has confirmed that the party’s National Working Committee [NWC] has cleared the Norman Mashabane and Vhembe regional conferences of any irregularities.
The NWC had been investigating complaints that these conferences, along with the Peter Mokaba regional conference, were marred by procedural issues

ANC Limpopo spokesperson Jimmy Machaka says the report on the outcomes of the conferences, which were held earlier this year, was presented to the Limpopo Provincial Executive Committee by the party’s Secretary-General, Fikile Mbalula, after he summoned the PEC to ANC Headquarters at Luthuli House in Johannesburg last Thursday.
Speaking on Energy FM and Choice FM Conversations Show on Tuesday night, Machaka says presentation of the report followed up on decisions taken during a previous session regarding organisational matters in the province.

He says the pending report is only for the Peter Mokaba regional conference, which has now been referred to the National Dispute Resolution Committee.
“In respect to the conference of Peter Mokaba, the matter is referred to the NDRCA, which is the National Dispute Resolution Committee of appeal. Once the matter is processed at that level, a determination will then be made whether the regional conference of Peter Mokaba is legitimate or not,” he said.
