Waterberg District executive Mayor Moloko Jack Maeko was elected as the chairperson, while Ngoako Taueatsoala is his deputy.
Rufus Mahoro [Regional Secretary], Andries Lekalakala [Deputy Regional Secretary] and Elsie Ndhlovu [Treasurer] complete the top five.
However, Seabi approached the court to have the conference set aside. The matter was removed from the roll by the Johannesburg High Court on Tuesday, 23 September 2025.

“The organisation views this litigation as nothing more than a delaying tactic, which will not derail the work of the democratically elected leadership in serving our communities,” he said.
