Minister Senzo Mchunu put on special leave

President Cyril Ramaphosa has put the Minister of Police, Senzo Mchunu, on leave of absence with immediate effect pending the finalisation of a judicial commission of inquiry.

Professor Firoz Cachalia has been appointed as acting Minister of Police.
