Missing Limpopo Woman found at Boyfriend’s place
A 39-year-old woman who was reported missing earlier this month has been located and fetched by police at her boyfriend’s residence in Itieleng village in Mopani, Limpopo.
This follows concerns raised by her family and community. Mankwana Nikkie Makudubele had been visiting her boyfriend without informing her relatives, which led to her being reported missing.

What raised further concern was that Makudubele had allegedly left her 4-year-old child behind without any explanation or arrangement for the child’s care, prompting emotional distress and alarm among her relatives.
She was last seen on Saturday, 5 July 2025. Police tracked her to Itieleng village, where she was found and escorted back to her family safe and unharmed.
The Department of Social Development may also intervene to assess the child’s welfare, as concerns have been raised regarding neglect.

Authorities have reminded members of the public to communicate clearly with their families and loved ones, especially when leaving children behind, to avoid panic and misuse of emergency resources.
Police also thanked the community for their cooperation during the search. They assured the public of their continued commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all residents.
