ANC Limpopo confirm dates for regional conferences
The ANC in Limpopo has confirmed the dates for the long-awaited regional conferences following a Provincial Executive Committee [PEC] meeting on Monday. The ordinary meeting was held at Frans Mohlala House in Polokwane.
Sekhukhune, Peter Mokaba, Vhembe, and Norman Mashabane are the four regions that are yet to elect their new leaders.

The party recently disbanded three of its regional structures after they failed to hold their regional conferences on time following the expiration of their terms. In an official statement on Tuesday, the party revealed all the dates for the four outstanding regions.
“The ANC Limpopo PEC received and endorsed the revised roadmap for regional conferences in Sekhukhune, Peter Mokaba, Vhembe, and Norman Mashabane,” said the ANC.

Norman Mashabane: 4-6 April 2025
Sekhukhune: 25-27 April 2025
Peter Mokaba: 25-27 April 2025
Vhembe: 3-4 May 2025
“The ANC Limpopo wishes all structures well in their regional conferences and reminds its membership that no disruption of branch general meetings will be tolerated. Furthermore, the PEC called on all structures to ensure full compliance with the guidelines relating to conferences.”
Meanwhile, the ANC also congratulated the newly elected leadership of COSATU in the province. The COSATU congress was held from 12-14 March 2025 at Bolivia Lodge, Polokwane.
“’The PEC congratulates COSATU Limpopo for hosting a successful Provincial Congress from 12-14 March 2025 at Bolivia Lodge. The newly elected COSATU leaders are Chairperson: Comrade Lesiba Monyaki, Deputy Chairperson: Comrade Linda Nthulane, Secretary: Comrade Hangwani Mashau and Treasurer: Comrade Mike Manganyi.
“The ANC looks forward to working with leadership as they advance the workers’ struggle.”
Meanwhile, the PEC meeting also noted the changes to the NEC deployees to Limpopo led by Thabang Makwetla who is the Convenor.
