ANC retains Fetakgomo-Tubatse Ward 37
The ANC retained the seat it won in the 2021 Local Government Elections following the by-elections in Ward 37 of Fetakgomo-Tubatse Local Municipality, Limpopo, on Wednesday.
The vacancy in the ward occurred due to the death of the Ward Councillor. The voter turnout for this ward in the 2021 Local Government Elections was 46.33% while the turnout was 58% in 2025.

During the elections on Wednesday, the ANC recorded a decisive victory with a significant increase in support and a higher voter turnout.
Ngake Zacharia Motubatse was elected as the new councillor after the party received 71% of the votes, up from 57%.

ANC: 71% [up from 57%]
EFF: 13% [down from 28%]
Mayibuye: 6%
SAMEBA: 5% [up from <1%]
Bolsheviks: 2% [up from <1%]
SACP: 1%
