R100K reward for information on missing Limpopo girl
Police in Limpopo are offering a reward of R100 000 to any person who can provide information that may lead to the recovery of missing nine-year-old girl Fiona Mpfunzeni Matodzi.
Fiona Matodzi [9] was reported missing on 11 August 2022 after she disappeared in Itsani Village in Vhembe District.
Fiona was walking home from school when she was allegedly abducted. She was last seen by fellow learners who were walking behind her.

The learners informed the police that they saw Fiona get into a black Volkswagen Polo motor vehicle that did not have registration number plates. The occupants of the vehicle could not be identified.
At the time of her disappearance, Fiona was wearing her school uniform. She never arrived home and has not been seen since.
The family continues to appeal for assistance, as they remain desperate for answers regarding her whereabouts.

The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has reiterated the SAPS’s commitment to pursue every possible lead to locate Fiona and bring those responsible to justice.
“We urge members of the public to come forward with any information, no matter how small it may seem,” said Hadebe.
“Someone out there knows something, and that information could be critical in reuniting Fiona with her family and ensuring that justice is served,” said the Provincial Commissioner.
