ANC Limpopo co‑opt new PEC members, announces new spokesperson
Following its first Provincial Executive Committee [PEC] meeting since the recent 11th Provincial Conference, the ANC has co-opted three more members into the PEC and has also announced a new spokesperson.
The ANC held its provincial conference last month in Polokwane, which elected Dr Phophi Ramathuba as the first female Provincial Chairperson.
The party will convene a provincial rally to launch the Local Government Councillor Candidate Nomination Branch General Meetings and to introduce the 11th Provincial Executive Committee at Giyani Stadium on Saturday, 11 April 2026. It is set to be addressed by the Provincial Chairperson Dr. Phophi Ramathuba,

In a statement on Wednesday, the party announced Tonny Rachoene as the new spokesperson, taking over from Jimmy Machaka. Rachuene is the current MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure in Limpopo. Goodman Mtileni has also been announced as the Head of Organising.
Meanwhile, the PEC also co-opted Orginia Mafefe, Delly Matjomane and Bongani Nkonyana into the PEC.
