Two suspects to appear in court over murder of Limpopo artist
Two suspects are expected to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court, Limpopo, in connection with the murder of Lekompo artist Adifele Lastborn Maimela, popularly known as “Baswele Mfana.”
The artist was allegedly attacked and killed in the early hours of Tuesday morning on Magazyn Street in Polokwane after a confrontation between him and two men believed to be known to his girlfriend.

The altercation reportedly escalated when more individuals joined in, resulting in the fatal attack.
The South African Police Service in Limpopo has confirmed the arrests, with investigations ongoing.

Meanwhile, fellow artists in the province have called for justice and are expected to gather at court on Thursday morning, demanding that bail be denied for the accused.
