Mogalakwena Education District tops Limpopo Matric Results Again
The Mogalakwena Local Municipality has congratulated the Mogalakwena Education District for achieving the number one position with 90.9% in Limpopo’s 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) results, marking the second consecutive year the district has led provincial performance rankings.
The achievement highlights sustained excellence in education within the municipality and reflects the collective effort of educators, learners, school management teams, parents and education stakeholders.

Announcing the results earlier today, Limpopo MEC for Education, Ms Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya, praised the district’s leadership and commitment to quality education. She commended District Director Mr Ndo Mangala, his management team, educators and learners for their dedication and consistency in maintaining high standards.
Limpopo Province recorded an overall matric pass rate of 86.1% in the 2025 examinations. The top-performing districts are as follow:
Vhembe West (86.9%)
Sekhukhune East (86.7%)
Vhembe East (85.9%)
Mopani East (85.1%)
Capricorn South (85.0%)
Sekhukhune South (83.7%)
Waterberg (82.7%)

Mogalakwena Local Municipality said the district’s success is a source of pride and inspiration to local communities. “This outstanding performance demonstrates what can be achieved through discipline, teamwork and unwavering commitment to education,” said a municipal spokesperson.
