CemAir to launch new George-Limpopo route
South African airline, CemAir has announced a new domestic route connecting George, Western Cape and Hoedspruit in Limpopo, set to launch on 17 May 2026.
The service will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, linking the Garden Route with Limpopo’s premier tourism hub.

CemAir Chief Commercial Officer Shaniel Singh said the route forms part of the airline’s effort to expand regional connectivity and boost domestic tourism.
Maruleng Mayor Tsheko Musolwa also welcomed the announcement. He called it a major step in strengthening Eastgate Airport’s role as a gateway to Limpopo’s top wildlife and leisure destinations.

Eastgate remains Limpopo’s busiest airport, and the new route is expected to enhance access to Hoedspruit’s lodges, reserves, and growing tourism economy.
