Angry community burn down Sangoma’s house in Limpopo
Police in Limpopo are in search of suspects who torched a house, assaulted family members and damaged vehicles of a local traditional healer in Bodutlula village outside Lebowakgomo, Capricorn on Friday.
A group reportedly gathered outside the healer’s yard around 08:00. After the local headman addressed them about allegations reportedly made at the tribal office, tensions escalated.

Stones were thrown, injuring relatives and damaging two vehicles and all 18 windows of the house before the buildings were set alight.
Furthermore, it was discovered that the Sangoma’s house, as well as a traditional consulting room, was set alight and the door was damaged.

It is alleged that a few days ago, traditional healer Ditshele Moja allegedly attacked, chained and brutally assaulted a Zimbabwean national. The action angered residents, and they demanded her relocation from the area.
