MEC Mathye intervenes in Lebowakgomo – Zebediela taxi violence
Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Violet Mathye, convened a meeting with taxi associations, including SANTACO, LNTA and other local taxi associations, to address the ongoing taxi violence in the Lebowakgomo and Zebediela areas.
The conflict between the Lebowakgomo Taxi Owners Association and the United Zebediela Taxi Association recently brought transportation to a standstill in the area.
The dispute over operational routes, including Zebediela, Lebowakgomo and Mphahlele, left commuters stranded.
