ANC retains Ephraim Mogale Municipality Ward 09
The ANC retained the seat it won in the 2021 Local Government Elections following the by-elections in Ward 09 of Ephraim Mogale Local Municipality, Limpopo, on Wednesday.
The party retained the seat with 69.08% of the total valid votes cast yesterday. The vacancy occurred due to the death of the Ward Councillor.

Collins Nkwane Maleswene is now the new councillor after the party secured 1566 votes.
The ANC in Limpopo says it is humbled by the trust of the people and reaffirms its resolve to build better communities together.
“The ANC has once again secured the confidence of the people of Ward 09, Ephraim Mogale sub-region, increasing our support,” the party said in a statement.

“We congratulate the new ANC Councillor, Comrade Collins Nkwane Maleswene, who will carry forward the mandate we received from the community.
We thank all our volunteers, structures, and supporters whose tireless work and dedication ensured not only a victory, but a strengthened mandate,” they said.
“The ANC remains humbled by the continuous trust of the people and reaffirms our resolve to build better communities together.”
