Interdict against man claiming to be son of ZCC leader
The Zion Christian Church [ZCC], Limpopo has addressed what they say is false and misleading information being spread by Michael Kgotso Serepo, claiming that he is the son of Bishop Dr BE Lekganyane.
Serepo is the leader of the Zion Creationist Church. A Church he has also claimed is associated with ZCC.

On his social media platforms, Serepo addresses himself as Maditobane Barnabas Lekganyane. But the church says he has been prohibited from using such a name.
He allegedly also encouraged members of his Zion creationist church to wear the religious uniform, symbols, and artifacts of the Z.C.C, claiming his church is associated with and is part of the ZCC.
According to a statement released on Monday, the church has obtained an interdict from the Pretoria High Court prohibiting Serepo and his followers from wearing the official ZCC uniform, using its symbols and artifacts, or making any claims that he is the son of His Grace, The Reverend, Bishop Dr. B.E. Lekganyane. The court also ordered Serepo to cease using the name Maditobane Barnabas Lekganyane.
