ANC regions resolve to have Dr Ramathuba as Chairperson

Following a meeting held on Thursday evening to deliberate on the upcoming provincial conference, ANC regions in Limpopo have resolved to have Dr Phophi Ramathuba as Provincial Chairperson.

The regions also agreed that Peter Mokaba Regional Chairperson, John Mpe, will serve as Deputy Provincial Chairperson.

In a joint statement issued by the ANC Norman Mashabane Region, the agreed provincial Top Five leadership slate is as follows:

Chairperson: Dr Phophi Ramathuba

Deputy Chairperson: John Mpe

Secretary: Vhamusanda Reuben Madadzhe

Deputy Secretary: Pule Shayi

Treasurer: Eddie Maila

“As Regions, we are elated that this clear-eyed herculean effort that produced the leadership perspective allows us to channel all our energies towards the renewal, consolidation, and advancement of the ANC in Limpopo as we gravitate towards local government elections,” said Peter Ngobeni, serving as spokesperson.

“With unity as our guiding principle, we reaffirm our dedication to building an organisation that is responsive to the urgent needs of our people and steadfast in its mission to transform society.

“This collective decision is rooted in our commitment to unity, internal cohesion, and the strengthening of the organisation’s capacity to serve the people of Limpopo.”
