Thousands of Limpopo learners begin trial examinations  

More than 111,518 full-time registered Grade 12 learners in Limpopo will begin their trial examinations on Monday, 24 August 2026.

The trial examinations provide learners with an important opportunity to assess their preparedness, identify areas that require further attention and build confidence ahead of the National Senior Certificate examinations later this year.

Limpopo MEC for Education, Mavhungu Lerule Ramakhanya, has wished the 2026 matric class well as they begin their trial examinations.

MEC Lerule Ramakhanya encouraged all Grade 12 learners to remain focused, disciplined and committed to their studies.

She also urged them to make effective use of the support provided by their teachers, schools and families as they prepare for the final examinations.

“To the Class of 2026, approach these Trial Examinations with confidence and determination,” said Lerule Ramakhanya.

“Believe in yourselves, work hard and remember that every effort you make today brings you closer to achieving your goals.”
