Hugo Broos announces his Bafana Bafana squad for World Cup
Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced his final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup to take place in Mexico, USA and Canada.
South Africa have been drawn in A alongside co-hosts Mexico, South Korea and Czech Republic. They will open their campaign on Thursday, 11 June against Mexico before they face the Czech Republic and close the group stages against South Korea.
Broos announced the final 26-man squad, joined by SAFA president Danny Jordaan, President Cyril Ramaphosa at Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guest House in Pretoria on Wednesday.
