Man and Woman found dead at Bendor Village in Polokwane

Police in Polokwane, Limpopo, are investigating murder incidents after a woman [37] was allegedly stabbed to death and a man [34] was found hanging in an upmarket residential estate, Bendor Village on Tuesday, 28 April 2026.

According to police, a neighbour reportedly heard screams followed by a commotion at a nearby residence. The neighbour immediately alerted police and emergency medical services.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered the bodies of both individuals, who were declared dead at the scene by medical personnel.

The woman was found on the driveway with multiple stab wounds to her upper body, while the man was found hanging outside the house, near the roof.

A weapon believed to have been used in the stabbing was recovered at the scene.

The motive for the incident remains unknown at this stage; however, police have not ruled out the possibility of a domestic violence-related dispute.
