Limpopo welcomes new triplets in Letaba

A mother gave birth to triplets at Letaba Hospital, Mopani in Limpopo on Wednesday, 22 April 2026. 

The three babies, two girls and one boy, were delivered via caesarean section at around 13:00. Both the mother and her newborns are reported to be in good health.

Limpopo Health MEC Dieketseng Mashego is set to visit the mother and the triplets at the facility on Thursday, 23 April 2026, following the successful birth of triplets at the facility, where she is expected to engage with healthcare staff and the family.
