Former Sekhukhune District Executive Mayor has died
Former Executive Mayor and Councillor of Sekhukhune District Municipality Maleke Mokganyetjie has passed on. Her passing was announced by current Executive Mayor of Sekhukhune District Municipality Minah Bahula on Sunday.
Mokganyetjie was appointed Mayor in December of 2022, after then ANC regional chairperson and executive mayor, Julia Mathebe was asked to step down. This is after Mathebe had been charged with fraud relating to VBS mutual bank transactions.
