VIVA Filling station in Boyne robbed by eight armed suspects
Police in Mankweng, Limpopo have launched a manhunt for eight armed suspects following a business robbery at a filling station outside Moria in the early hours of Monday, 13 April 2026.
At approximately 00:30, suspects wearing balaclavas and gloves entered the premises armed with firearms.

They gained access to the shop area and ordered staff members to lie down. The suspects then assumed petrol attendant uniforms to approach unsuspecting customers.
Two motorists who arrived to refuel were accosted at gunpoint and forced into the store. The suspects seized vehicle keys and removed a safe containing cash from the premises, along with cigarettes. They fled the scene in a white Daihatsu Terios and VW Caddy with Gauteng registration.

The VW Caddy was later recovered abandoned in the Mentz, Segoreng village.
A manhunt for the eight suspects is currently underway, and police are following up on all available leads.
