Leeto La Polokwane operations suspended
The Polokwane Municipality has confirmed that the Leeto La Polokwane operations have been suspended with immediate effect until further notice.
The decision follows ongoing developments and engagements involving members of the taxi industry.

The Municipality says the safety of our passengers, staff, and vehicles remains their top priority, and as a precautionary measure, all services have been suspended to prevent any potential harm.
**PUBLIC NOTICE**

“Passengers are strongly advised to make alternative transport arrangements until services resume. Leeto La Polokwane is actively monitoring the situation in collaboration with relevant stakeholders; consequently, services will resume once normalcy is restored.
“We regret the disruption caused and urge all passengers to remain patient and prioritise their safety,” said Municipality spokesperson Thipa Selala.

Meanwhile, despite SANTACO Limpopo announcing that the planned taxi shutdown has been called off, taxi operators in Seshego and surrounding areas are currently blocking roads from Seshego through the Luthuli and Emdo Park intersections.
Several buses travelling from Moletjie and passing through Zone 6 in Seshego have also been blocked. Bus drivers have reportedly been instructed to return to Moletjie, leaving commuters stranded.
The protest is understood to stem from ongoing grievances over alleged unfair treatment by the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety.
