Man stoned to death in Jane Furse road rage incident
A male driver was killed after being struck with bricks during a road rage incident along Moripane Road in Ngwanamatlang village outside Jane Furse, Limpopo on Sunday, 22 March.
It is alleged that two vehicles were travelling in the same direction when one vehicle collided with another from the rear.
Following the collision, the driver of one of the vehicles exited and discharged a firearm into the air. An altercation then ensued between the individuals involved.

During the confrontation, the driver was overpowered, assaulted, and fatally injured after being struck with bricks. He was declared dead at the scene. Two passengers who were with the deceased were also assaulted.
**PUBLIC NOTICE**

Police have launched a manhunt for two unknown suspects believed to be involved in the incident. The deceased’s firearm and two cellphones were reported missing.

The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo has condemned the incident and urged motorists to exercise restraint and avoid violent confrontations.
“We call on members of the public to remain calm in situations of conflict and to seek lawful means of resolving disputes,” she said.
“Violence and lawlessness will not be tolerated, and those responsible will be brought to book,” said the Provincial Commissioner.
