“Friday, 13 March 2026, will forever be remembered as the day Boikie Monareng completed an extraordinary mission – when he crossed the country from Musina to Cape Town in a wheelbarrow,” Monareng wrote on his Facebook platform.
“This journey was never just about distance. It was about a message. A message that bullying must stop. Through towns, provinces, schools, churches and communities, Boikie carried the stories, pain and hope of many South Africans – people who in one way or another experienced bullying.
“Today that message arrives in Cape Town. It comes carried by determination, faith and the unbreakable spirit of a man who refused to be defined by his pain.”
