Royal Houses unite to drive community development in Limpopo
The Royal Houses of Mošate wa Ga Raphahlelo and Mošate wa Ga Maseke have entered into a historic partnership aimed at advancing community development and improving livelihoods in Limpopo.
The agreement was formalised in Ga Maseke during a two-day engagement that brought together traditional leaders, councils, and community representatives.

The partnership was sealed at the Banakome ba Maseke Tribal Office, and led by Kgosigadi Raphahlelo and Kgosigadi Maseke, who emphasised unity and cooperation as essential tools for addressing modern socio-economic challenges.
The alliance focuses on five priority areas which are education, youth development, sports, arts and culture, and skills development. Through joint planning and resource-sharing, the Royal Houses aim to create sustainable social and economic opportunities.
The programme included cultural performances, such as the traditional Sekgapa dance, reinforcing heritage and community pride. Leaders also undertook hands-on activities, including visits to the Maseke Drop-In Centre, where school uniforms were donated to local learners, and inspections of newly completed community infrastructure.

Representatives from Hosi Majaje and the Banakome ba Maseke Communal Property Association described the partnership as a milestone that strengthens the relevance of traditional leadership.
Preparations are already under way for Matome Day in June 2026, which will serve as the first major public platform showcasing the strength, unity, and shared vision of this new alliance.
