Details around Makhadzi’s car accident emerge
More details surrounding the car accident involving Limpopo Musician Makhadzi have emerged after he was discharged from the hospital on Saturday, 3 January 2026.
Makhadzi, real name Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, was hospitalised after sustaining injuries in a car accident while travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg on the morning of 31 December 2025.

The singer was forced to cancel all her shows on New Year’s Eve after she was admitted to a private facility in Polokwane.
Limpopo Chronicle has since established that the accident occurred along the N1 near Mokopane. It is said the driver of the car had heard a strange sound coming from the vehicle, prompting them to stop and assess the vehicle.
While he was checking the vehicle, Makhadzi and her team also got out to stretch their legs. Unfortunately, Makhadzi was knocked down by an unknown vehicle. She suffered severe injuries that led her to spend three days at the hospital.

But on Saturday, her team confirmed that the award-winning musician has been discharged from the hospital and is currently recovering at home.
She is expected to return to performing only during the Easter Period due to medical advice from the Doctors.
