Man arrested for impregnating two minors in Lephalale
A 19-year-old male has been arrested in relation to two statutory rape cases involving minor victims in Marapong, outside Lephalale in Limpopo.
Reports indicate that a 14-year-old girl went to a local hospital for medical examination and was declared pregnant on Monday, 18 December 2025.
The same day, a 15-year-old girl from the same location went to the medical facility and was also declared pregnant by the medical personnel.

Later on, it was discovered that the two minor victims were allegedly impregnated by a 19-year-old male who, after noting that police were on the lookout for him, disappeared to evade arrest.
The suspect’s luck ran out on Tuesday, 30 December 2025, when he was traced and placed under arrest while at his hideout in Makopa farm in Thabazimbi.
He will appear before the Lephalale Magistrate’s court on Friday, 02 January 2026, to face statutory rape cases.
Meanwhile, another 19-year-old was arrested in Lebowakgomo for raping two minors, aged 07 girl and a 09-years-old boy at Makotse new stand on Wednesday, 30 December 2025.

The complainant, on behalf of the victims, came to the police station client service centre, commonly known as [CSC], with the victims and the alleged suspect of rape.
Reports suggest that the victims were playing with their friends at their neighbour’s place when the suspect lured them to his place of residence.
On their arrival, the suspect allegedly showed the victims pornographic pictures and raped them.
It is alleged that the guardian noticed that the victims were missing. She became suspicious and searched for them at their neighbour’s homestead.
She found the victims crying, and when she asked what had happened, she was informed that the suspect had already raped the two victims
A case of rape was opened, and the suspect was subsequently arrested on the spot for rape.
