Makhadzi hospitalised after car accident

Award-winning South African musician Makhadzi has been hospitalised following a car accident that occurred on the morning of 31 December while she was travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg.

The incident has raised concern among fans and members of the music industry, many of whom have since shared messages of support and well-wishes.

Makhadzi Entertainment confirmed the accident in an official media statement, assuring the public that the artist is receiving medical attention and remains in a stable condition.

”She is currently receiving medical care and remains in hospital, where her condition is stable and under close observation by medical professionals”, the statement said. 

The management team emphasised that the singer’s health and well-being are their top priority at this time. They have also appealed to the public and media to respect Makhadzi’s privacy, as well as that of her family, while she continues to recover in hospital.

Details surrounding the cause of the accident have not yet been disclosed. Management team indicated that further updates will be shared through official communication channels when appropriate.
