Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has also strongly condemned the continued violence, emphasising that criminal behaviour within the transport sector will not be allowed.
“Lawlessness will never be tolerated, regardless of who is involved. We will deal decisively with anyone who engages in acts of violence, especially during this festive season when our communities rely heavily on public transport,” said Lieutenant General Hadebe.
All suspects are currently in police custody and will appear before Giyani Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 12 December 2025, facing several charges linked to the ongoing conflict.
