Latest taxi fares from Pretoria to Limpopo
Commuters travelling from Pretoria’s Bosman Station to various parts of Limpopo will need to budget for revised taxi fares as the industry prepares for the busy festive season.
The new fare structure, which comes into effect on 15 December 2025, reflects rising operational costs and an anticipated increase in holiday travel demand.

According to operators, the adjustments are necessary to maintain reliable services during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
Popular routes such as Polokwane, Lebowakgomo, and Zebediela will now cost R330, while destinations including Tzaneen, Louis Trichardt, Thohoyandou, Giyani, and Phalaborwa have been standardised at R390.

Travellers heading to Apel will pay R310, whereas Bochum commuters will now be charged R340. The longest and costliest trip on the list is Musina, with the new fare set at R470.
Taxi associations have urged passengers to plan ahead and familiarize themselves with the updated fares to avoid confusion or delays at ranks. They also emphasised that the increase is intended to support vehicle maintenance, fuel costs, and driver welfare, ensuring safe and efficient transport throughout the festive period.
Commuters are encouraged to travel early, especially on peak days, as long-distance routes are expected to experience heavy demand.
