Peter Mokaba Stadium gets the nod for another CAF tie
Western Cape-based side Stellenbosch FC have announced that they will host Congolese side AS Otohô in their CAF Confederation Cup Group C match at New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday, 23 November.
The announcement comes on the back of confirmation by Kaizer Chiefs that they will host Egyptian giants Zamalek at the same venue for their CAF Confederation Cup Group D match on Saturday, 29 November.

The stadium will also host the 2025 Carling Knockout final between Orlando Pirates and Marumo Gallants on Saturday, 6 December 2025.
The club explained that they have moved their match to Limpopo due to the unavailability of stadiums in their province.
“The fixture has been moved outside of the Western Cape due to the unavailability of DHL Stadium in Cape Town,” the club said.

“Our traditional home, Danie Craven Stadium, and neighbouring Athlone Stadium, are similarly unavailable as they do not meet CAF requirements.
Kick-off for the encounter is scheduled for 15:00. Tickets are available for R40.00 from Webtickets and Pick n Pay outlets.
The Stadium is home to three Betway Premiership clubs, Sekhukhune United, Magesi FC and Polokwane City.
