HONOR and METRO FM turn up the Heatwave Tour
Global technology brand HONOR has teamed up with METRO FM to bring back one of South Africa’s most anticipated summer music events, METRO FM Heatwave.
This year’s tour promises even more energy, powered by HONOR’s latest smartphone, the HONOR X7d 5G.

The Heatwave tour will make its first stop in Witbank, Mpumalanga, on Saturday, 22 November. It will then head for Durban in KZN on Saturday, 29 November.
Polokwane in Limpopo will have its turn on Saturday, 6 December, before it proceeds to East London on 16 December, and wraps up in Johannesburg on 20 December.
Known for its electrifying atmosphere, the event will feature some of Mzansi’s hottest DJs and performers, offering fans a full summer experience.
The HONOR X7d 5G will take centre stage throughout the tour, showcasing its key features, including 5-Star Premium Drop Protection, IP65 water resistance, and a powerful 6500mAh dual-cell battery.
Running on MagicOS 9.0 (Android 15) and the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, the device promises smooth performance and long-lasting power.

HONOR South Africa CEO Fred Zhou said the collaboration celebrates the country’s dynamic music culture.
