Woman robbed and raped at gunpoint in Malamulele
A 35-year-old woman was robbed and rapped at gunpoint by three unknown men, one of whom was armed with a firearm at her homestead in Malamulele, Limpopo during the early hours of Tuesday.
According to the Police in Limpopo, the woman was asleep at her residence when she was awakened by the suspects who allegedly demanded money from her at gun point.

When the suspects realized that the victim had no cash, they reportedly assaulted and raped her before robbing her of several items, including, three laptops, and three cellphones.
The suspects further demanded the keys to her white Nissan Hardbody NP300 bakkie, which they used to flee the scene.
The total value of the stolen property is estimated at R459,000.00.

Following swift and intensive investigations, the stolen vehicle was recovered the same day at Mulenzhe village near Thohoyandou after it was found abandoned.
Police have since opened cases of house robbery and rape, and investigations are continuing to trace and arrest the suspects, as well as recovering of the remaining stolen property.
