Child [3] dies after being locked in a car in Seshego
A three-year-old child was found dead on Monday afternoon after being left locked inside a car by her mother, who had rushed for a handover session at the Seshego Hospital, Limpopo, earlier that morning.
According to a Police report, they found a Doctor who pointed out a blue Toyota Corolla Cross motor vehicle parked inside the hospital yard at around 15:10.

Police were informed about a three-year-old baby girl who was allegedly found locked inside the motor vehicle with windows closed while seated in the back seat.
Reports suggest that the medical practitioner pronounced the child after she succumbed to the heat and lack of oxygen while locked inside the motor vehicle.

Preliminary investigations indicated that in the morning at about 07:00, the deceased was left by her mother inside the motor vehicle when she rushed for a handover session at the medical facility and seemingly forgot about her in the car.
A culpable homicide case has been opened at Seshego police station. Pathological Forensic Analysis [Postmortem] will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death and police investigations are continuing.
