Limpopo expresses readiness for 2025 Matric exams
Over 127 000 matriculants are set to sit for the 2025 matric exams in Limpopo, scheduled to take place from Tuesday, 21 October to 27 November.
According to the Limpopo Department of Education, 101 576 full-time and 25 516 part-time candidates have been successfully registered on the examination system.
Admission letters have been issued, and 1 650 examination centres have been audited and verified for readiness.

The Department says they have implemented strict quality assurance and compliance measures to ensure that all examination processes meet the required national standards.
They have also supported learners through focused academic intervention programmes such as Winter Enrichment, spring classes and Saturday Classes.

MEC for Education, Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya, has encouraged learners to stay focused and disciplined during the exams.
“To all our learners, you have been on a 12-year journey of hard work and dedication. I urge you to remain confident, honest, and uphold integrity throughout your final examinations,” said Lerule-Ramakhanya.
“As a province, we are ready, optimistic about improved performance outcomes and aiming for the top five spots. All these depend on you,”
