Limpopo ANCYL PEC member shot and killed – Report

A member of the ANCYL provincial executive committee [PEC] in Limpopo has been shot and killed, according to a report by the SABC.

The member was reportedly travelling to Kimberley in the Northern Cape for the league’s meeting to prepare for the National General Council [NGC] meeting. The incident is said to have occurred on Tuesday morning.

A fellow Youth League PEC member who was in the same car as the deceased told the public broadcaster that the incident occurred on the Klerksdorp Road in North West. The NGC meeting will take place from Wednesday to Friday.

The 2nd National General Council taking place from 10–12 September 2025 in Kimberley, Northern Cape, will be followed by our 81st Anniversary Celebration on 13 September.
