Tinder dating app serial killer arrested in Mentz Village
A 37-year-old Tinder dating app serial killer was arrested for over ten cases of rape and murder at his hiding place in Mentz village, Limpopo.
The man would reportedly lure victims through the dating app Tinder to his residence in Eersterust, Pretoria, Gauteng province.

He allegedly raped some of his victims, until the recent incident wherein he raped and killed the victim, and thereafter buried her in a shallow grave in his residence.
The matter was brought to the Police’ attention, and massive investigations were conducted.
A thorough investigation was conducted, resulting in the arrest of the suspect at his hiding place, in Mentz village, Mankweng, in the early hours of Monday.

Provincial Commissioner of the Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has cautioned the community members, especially women, to be very careful when using dating sites, because they might fall victim to crime.
“As we celebrate women’s month, let’s be cautious at all times, and we should mind who we associate ourselves with,” said Lieutenant Hadebe.
“Report any suspicious movements or abuse to the Police, always share your location with your family and avoid meeting strangers at private spaces,” she added.
People who were victimised by this suspect or other suspects are urged to report to their local police stations to assist the Police with ongoing investigations.
