R521 Dendron road remains closed
The R521 road, 10 kilometres from Polokwane to Dendron, Limpopo, remains closed due to a serious accident involving a Heavy Motor Vehicle [HMV] tanker and a Light Delivery Vehicle [LDV].
There is a high possibility that the road will remain closed for the entire night. There is suspicion that the tanker is carrying hydrochloric acid, and a spillage on the road poses a significant risk to the environment.

The exact location of the accident is at Marlo before Ga-Ramongwane and motorists are advised to use Moletji Road at Mmakgodu to Moshate and R567 Seshego/Moletji Road.

Chemical Spillage: Hydrochloric acid may have split onto the road and nearby farms, posing a danger to the environment
