Two sons arrested for killing their father in Limpopo
Police in Limpopo have arrested two sons, aged 29 and 32, for allegedly killing their father [55] in Ga-Mothapo village, Tjatjaneng on Saturday.
Police responded to a complaint of a domestic-related assault at approximately 11:00 on Saturday morning.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the 55-year-old victim who had been severely assaulted and was unable to speak.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased had been assaulted by his two sons following an argument.
The suspects fled the scene immediately after the incident. The victim was certified dead upon arrival at the local hospital.

Acting swiftly on the matter, police launched an intensive manhunt and successfully arrested both suspects at a hideout in a nearby village during the early hours of Sunday morning at approximately 03:00.
The two suspects are expected to appear before the Mankweng Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 21 July 2025. They are facing charges of murder.
