Former Kaizer Chiefs star checks in at rehab centre in Limpopo
Professional football player Kgaogelo Sekgota [28] has been admitted to the Hope of Achievers Rehabilitation Centre, outside Polokwane in Limpopo, due to his struggle with substance abuse.
The former Kaizer Chiefs and Magesi FC player is reportedly struggling with the use of marijuana.
He joins fellow football personality Lerato Chabangu who was admitted at the centre in February this year who is also dealing with the issue of substance abuse.

Sekgota, who hails from Moletjie, is currently playing for Motsepe Foundation Championship side, Upington City.
It is understood that Sekgota’s family members grew increasingly worried about his declining football career.

According to the owner of Hope of Achievers Rehabilitation Centre, Watson Luandi, they were made aware by his family members.
“We acted promptly in accordance with his family’s request, and our team located him at a venue where he was engaged in drinking with friends,” Luandi was quoted by the Sunday World.
“Our security personnel acted decisively while he was preoccupied there and escorted him to the centre.
“He returned to the province following the conclusion of the season, and we seized the opportune moment to bring him to the centre.”
