MEC for Health in Limpopo, Dieketseng Mashego, has expressed disappointment in the rape incident at the George Masebe Hospital.
She has also initiated an internal investigation to thoroughly examine the circumstances surrounding this incident.
MEC Mashego has indicated that hospitals are supposed to be havens for the weak and vulnerable and healthcare professionals are expected to exhibit above-reproach conduct in order to cement this expectation.
