ANC conference in Sekhukhune elects new leadership
The 9th ANC Sekhukhune Regional Conference held at Boeketlong Lodge in Jane Furse, Limpopo elected the new top five officials.
The ANC elective conference in Sekhukhune was attended by 92 out of 117 branches that complied with the requirements needed to form part of the conference. A day before the conference, a disgruntled Napo Pitjadi interdicted the conference.

Despite fears that it would be postponed, the conference went ahead as scheduled.
It was graced by the presence of NEC member Mdu Manana, Deputy Provincial Chairperson Florence Radzilani, ANC Limpopo leader Deputy Provincial Secretary Biskopo Makamu, Provincial Treasurer Nakedi Kekana, PEC Convenor of deployees Phophi Ramathuba, PEC members Kedibone Lebea, Nkakareng Rakgoale, Frans Mokwele, Reggie Molokomme, Jerry Maseko and other leaders.
ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula delivered a closing address at the Conference.

Sekhukhune District Executive Mayor Minah Bahula was elected for a second term as regional chairperson unopposed. Elias Motsoaledi, Mayor David Tladi secured the deputy chairperson while Mathope is the secretary. Fetakgomo-Tubatse Mayor, Eddie Maila was elected Deputy Secretary and Given Moimana is the Treasurer.
