Man burned to death after alleged rape attempt in Lwamondo
A man, believed to be in his mid-thirties, was burned to death in the street after allegedly being caught attempting to rape an elderly woman in a one-room house in Lwamondo, Tshalovha village, Limpopo, on Sunday.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the woman screamed for help, prompting community members to gather at the scene, where they found the man naked.

The man, identified as Tshifhiwa Singo, was then taken outside and set on fire in the street. Police were informed about the incident and rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, they found the man lying on the ground with severe burn wounds, unclothed, and with no one else present.

Limpopo Provincial Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has strongly condemned the incident.
She urged community members to refrain from taking the law into their own hands. To also report all criminal activities to the police.
A manhunt is underway to identify and arrest the suspects involved.
