Infants injured in Makurung village shooting
A one-year-old and a six-month-old baby were shot and injured when unidentified gunmen ambushed their family’s vehicle in Makurung Village, Ga-Mphahlele in Limpopo.
The attack occurred on Wednesday night at around 19:45, when an induna from Makurung Village under Kgosi Mphahlele, was travelling with his family members between Morotse and Tooseng villages when they were targeted by assailants in a white Volkswagen Polo with no registration plates.

The suspects opened fire before fleeing the scene. The induna and the infants sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital for medical care.
A FAMILY WAS AMBUSHED BY UNKNOWN GUNMEN IN MAKURUNG VILLAGE
The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has condemned in the strongest possible terms the incident.
